Discover the essence of our way of life in an environment that is simultaniously harsh and breathtakingly beautiful.

The challenging climate has compelled us to be innovative, utilizing our enthusiasm for nature, equines, wildlife, and self-sufficiency to sustain our livelihood.

CHALETS: In 2024, we expanded our offerings by building two charming bungalows nestled on a mountain slope, allowing guests to fully appreciate the breathtaking views. By limiting our accommodations to just four guests at a time, we aim to provide a more personal and immersive experience for those eager to explore the everyday life on a Namibian farm.

WILDLIFE: Our objective is to establish a refuge for diverse wildlife. Since the inception of this vision in 2019, we have achived a significant increase in both the population and diversity of game species on our property.

NATURE: Take a moment to appreciate the stunning beauty of the expansive landscapes and observe the incredible ways in which wildlife and plant life have evolved to thrive in this challenging environment.

HORSES: We take great pride in breeding exceptional Appaloosa horses. Occasionally, we offer some of our young stock for sale, while retaining others for breeding or riding purposes. We warmly welcome enthusiasts to participate in our equine activities.

CATTLE: We keep a modest herd of Bonsmara/Boran cattle for beef production. Given the arid climate, we’ve chosen to limit the herd’s size to better manage the dry periods.

SELF-SUFFICIENT LIVING: Although total self-sufficiency might be out of reach, we find immense joy in harvesting and producing our own meat and cultivating a small vegetable garden that provides us with fresh produce. We harness solar pumps to access clean drinking water from underground sources, and our electricity is powered by solar energy as well.
